DNAare partnering with a well-established medical centre in Canberra's southern region to recruit a Practice Manager on a permanent full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of a busy and successful clinic, leading an established team while helping drive continued growth, efficiency, and exceptional patient care.

With a team of 7 General Practitioners, 3 Registered Nurses, and 2 Allied Health professionals, this clinic has built a strong reputation within the local community and offers a cooperative and supportive working environment.

About the Role

n

Reporting directly to the clinic owners, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice while ensuring the delivery of outstanding patient care and operational excellence.

n

Key responsibilities include:





n

n
- Managing the daily operations of the clinic
n
- Leading, mentoring and supporting administration and nursing teams
n
- Workforce planning, rostering and staff performance management
n
- Financial oversight including billing, accounts and reporting
n
- Supporting accreditation processes and compliance requirements
n
- Monitoring and improving operational efficiencies
n
- Managing patient experience and service delivery standards
n
- Liaising with GPs, Allied Health professionals and external stakeholders
n
- Supporting business growth and practice development initiatives
n
- Overseeing IT systems, policies and practice procedures
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

n

n
- Previous experience as a Practice Manager within General Practice
n
- Strong leadership and people management skills
n
- Sound understanding of Medicare, billing and practice operations
n
- Experience managing accreditation and compliance requirements
n
- Excellent organisational and problem‐solving abilities
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
- Experience with General Practice software systems
n
- Ability to lead by example and foster a positive team culture
n
