We are a busy and well-established CPA practice located in Berwick with a large and diverse client base. We provide professional accounting, bookkeeping, taxation, and business advisory services to individuals and businesses across a range of industries.

We are currently seeking a well‐organised, confident, and motivated accounting professional to join our team on a part‐time basis, working 3 days per week (22.5 hours).

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Preparation of Individual, Partnership, Trust, Company, and Superannuation Fund tax returns
n
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS
n
- Preparation of financial statements for all entity types
n
- Bookkeeping and account reconciliations
n
- Maintaining accurate and up‐to‐date client records and documentation
n
- Liaising with the ATO and ASIC on client matters
n
- Assisting clients with taxation and compliance enquiries
n
- Managing multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism
n

Key Requirements

n

n




- Minimum of 4 years' recent experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm, managing a high volume of taxation compliance work (this is an essential requirement).
n
- Strong understanding of Australian taxation laws and compliance requirements
n
- Demonstrated experience using HandiTax, Xero and MYOB (experience with all three is highly desirable).
n
- Relevant qualifications in Accounting and/or Taxation
n
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
n
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team
n
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
n
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
n
- Qualified presentation and client‐focused approach
n
- Valid Australian work visa is required for this position
n
