The Role
n
You'll walk alongside families-supporting practical parenting education, leading inclusive playgroups, running school readiness programs, coordinating care for families with complex needs, and building community connections through outreach and events. You'll be part of a supportive team committed to strengthening resilience and wellbeing in rural communities.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Deliver family support, parenting education, supported parent groups/playgroups, school readiness programs, and (where applicable) home visiting.
n
- Provide care coordination and case management for families with complex needs- building long-term, holistic relationships.
n
- Facilitate community outreach, education, and development activities to grow local capacity.
n
- Support participants to build skills, confidence, and community connections.
n
- Ensure services are responsive to community needs and integrate with other local supports.
n
- Maintain solid stakeholder relationships for collaborative service delivery.
n
- Keep accurate records, maintain client file security, and apply professional ethics.
n
- Stay current with industry developments and assist other programs/clients as required
n

Desired Skills and Experience
n
Skills & Experience (Essential)
n
n
- Relevant qualifications in welfare or related fields and/or extensive experience working with families with complex needs.
n
- Experience in case management and program delivery- including development, implementation, coordination, review, and evaluation.
n
- Ability to engage with complex families; experience in childcare/playgroups or similar settings.
n
- Experience working with Aboriginal and CALD communities.
n
- Strong relationship-building skills with multi-faceted services.
n
- Current driver's licence and ability to travel regularly (including overnight stays).
n
n
