The Queen's Club Position : Full Time Location : Sydney

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000 a year A rare opportunity to join a long-established private Club in Sydney's CBD. We are seeking an enthusiastic, qualified Accommodation Manager to join our dynamic team in a full time capacity.
n
The role plays an important part in providing excellent service to our long-standing Members and their guests. The primary responsibility will be to ensure accommodation services operate efficiently and high standards of presentation of the rooms and Club are continually upheld.
n
You will be an experienced leader with a dedication to exceptional operational standards and service delivery.
n
Key Duties
n
n
- Oversee accommodation to ensure consistent operational excellence including being responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Reception, Housekeeping and Concierge team, anticipating and delivering on guest needs to achieve a high level of Member satisfaction.
n
- Manage budgets to enable efficient daily operations.
n
- Respond to Member enquiries in an efficient manner and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
n
- Monitor operational performance in housekeeping ensuring high service standards.
n
- Supervising housekeeping staff and contractors.
n
- Coordinate Reception and Housekeeping rosters.
n
- Provide ongoing staff training and recruitment in accordance with operational guidelines and SOPs.
n
- Establish and manage stock control systems, orders and supply processes.
n
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards.
n
- Prepare regular performance and operational reports.
n
- Maintain front office files and records as required.
n
- Support continuous improvement across accommodation operations.
n
- Ensure guest bookings are correct and confirm bookings. Checking accuracy of data and accounting entries for all transactions.
n
- Set up quality control measures and monitoring of all guest feedback.
n
- Attend Department Head meeting on weekly basis to report on reservations, property management and staff issues.
n

Key Attributes
n
n
- Previous experience in accommodation operations and hospitality management or related services.
n
- Proven skills in staff management and leadership.
n
- Excellent customer service skills and communication skills (verbal and written).
n
- Attention to detail and prompt attention to Members and Guests.
n
- Highly organised and ability to work under pressure.
n
- Providing friendly, personalised Member service in person or by phone.
n
- Ability to use initiative to solve problems.
n
- Fluent spoken and written English.
n
- A high standard of personal presentation and grooming standards.
n
- Excellent computer skills.
n
- Must have a strong work ethic.
n
- Flexibility in work hours.
