The Opportunity.

n

This is a new Psychology (Hons) Graduate or Rehabilitation Counsellor opportunity available to Full induction, training, and buddy system provided to set you up for success.

n

As a Rehabilitation Consultant you will manage a portfolio of clients with a psychological disorder, completing vocational assessments and reports.

n

You will develop the skills needed to conduct motivational interviews with clients as well as influencing stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes for your clients.

n

Within your role, you will.

n

Manage a portfolio of clients with a psychological or physical injury

n

Complete initial assessments and identify suitable goals

n

Identify barriers preventing clients from returning to work

n

Organise appropriate intervention with stakeholders

n

Conduct Vocational Assessments

n

Attend medical appointments with your clients

n





Complete reports after assessments and meetings

n

Communicate with medical professionals regarding diagnoses and treatment

n

Facilitate a safe and timely graduated return to work

n

Document case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements

n

About You.

n

4th year Psychology Graduate

n

Associate or Full membership with ASORC as a Rehabilitation Counsellor (Graduates with an honours degree in Psychology are eligible)

n

Car and valid Driver's license

n

Police check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement

n

Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships

n

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

n
