Job Description

BASCO is a growing automotive parts wholesaler supplying customers across Australia. As our business continues to expand, we are looking for a capable and hands‐on Warehouse Manager to lead the operations of our brand recent warehouse in Virginia.

This is a full‐time day shift role (typically 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday) with an immediate start available.

n

Applicants must hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency to meet ongoing work rights requirements.

n

The Role

n

This position is ideal for someone ready to step up and take ownership of a growing warehouse function.

n

You will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations while building team capability and supporting the next stage of business growth.

n

This is a hands‐on leadership role — you'll lead from the front while also thinking ahead.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Manage and support warehouse staff
n
- Oversee receiving, picking, packing and dispatch operations
n
- Maintain strong inventory control and stock accuracy
n
- Improve workflow and warehouse organisation
n
- Monitor and improve order accuracy and dispatch performance
n
- Coordinate freight and supplier deliveries
n
- Maintain a clean,



safe and compliant workplace
n
- Assist in developing processes and procedures as the business grows
n

n

What We're Looking For

n

We are seeking someone practical, organised and solutions‐focused with a current forklift license.

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- Experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager
n
- Strong understanding of inventory control and stock management
n
- Experience working in a fast‐paced distribution environment
n
- Confidence leading a small team
n
- Good communication and problem‐solving skills
n
- A proactive mindset and willingness to improve processes
n

n

Experience in automotive or wholesale distribution is highly regarded.
