The Role

An exciting Senior product marketingopportunity has become available to lead this brand and the business unit across its product development life cycle.You will help drive sales outcomes through effective product development and continually looking for new ways to gain marketshare.Offering wide exposure to overseas sourcing, you will be involved in leading a team of Product Managers and supporting them in planning, developing and launching new products to market.

Day to Day

n

As a Senior product development professional you will have a diverse range of productmarketing experienceand will be able to demonstrate the following:

n

Strong leadership qualities and ability to coach, develop and grow a successful team culture

n

Experience leading teams and developing products within the cabinet / joinery / wood products space.

n

Drive strategic direction of the product category in both the short and long term.

n

Develop and maintain relationships with overseas (China/Australasia/Europe) suppliers and manufacturing

n

Able to build relationships cross departmentally to ensure products are launched to cost and on-time

n





Produce and utilise reports / data to make decisions

n

A strong ability to utilise and manipulate excel data

n

Administration and execution of day to day functional tasks

n

The ability to manage various projects at a time to ensure customer satisfaction

n

Following up shipping requests and working closely with customers inventory planning teams

n

Skills needed

n

Experience in cabinet making / kitchens or Joinery products workplace

n

Ability to work collaboratively across other departments (marketing, sales, operations etc.)

n

Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities to drive a team of high performance.

n

Able to present strongly to executive leadership with details around product and category direction.

n

Ability to look at and capitalise on market trends and customer demands

n

Heavily reliant on data to makefuture business decisions for your category

n

High attention to detail with strong organisational skills

n

High level of commercial acumen and able to see the impact your work has on the overall business success

n

Able to work in a fast paced, agile environment

n
