Your Development We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Oncology ward on a part-time basis. In this fast-paced and diverse environment, you will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction. As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
n
- Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
n
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end-of-life needs
n
- Led successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
n
- Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
n
- Act as a role model for Safe Practice
n
n

- Bachelor of Science (Nursing)
n
- Demonstrated experience administering infusions
n
- 2+ years oncology experience (desirable)
n
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
n
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
n
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
n
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
n
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
n
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
n
- Antineoplastic Drug Administration qualification (desirable, onsite ADAC training and education available to suitable applicants)
