About the Role
n
As a General Practitioner with Galangoor, you will:
n
n
- Deliver comprehensive primary healthcare services
n
- Focus on preventative care and chronic disease management
n
- Provide culturally responsive care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
n
- Work collaboratively with Health Workers, Nurses, Midwives, Allied Health and community stakeholders
n
- Support clinical leadership and continuous service improvement
n
- Build long-term therapeutic relationships with patients and families
n
n

About You
n
We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable GP who values relationship-based care and community engagement.
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
- MBBS with unrestricted AHPRA registration
n
- Minimum 3 years' medical experience
n
- RACGP Fellowship or ACCRM
n
- Eligibility for unrestricted Medicare Provider Number
n
- Commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health
n
- Experience in complex condition management
n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
- Commitment to patient-centred care
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
- Experience working within an ACCHO
n
- GP Supervisor accreditation or willingness to supervise
n
- Understanding of social determinants of health
n
- Passion for improving Indigenous health outcomes
n
n
