Job Description
Contract Administrator | Tier 3 Builder | Sydney
n
This Isn't Just Another CA Role. Read On.
n
We get it. You've scrolled past a dozen ads today that all sound the same.
n
"Exciting opportunity... dynamic team... market-competitive salary... great culture..."
n
So let's skip the fluff and tell you exactly why people who join us don't leave and why those who haven't joined us yet wish they had.
n
Who We Are
n
We're one of Sydney's most respected Tier 3 builders and we wear that badge with pride.
n
We build Schools, Industrial Facilities, Commercial Spaces, Medical Centres and everything in between. New Builds. Fitouts. Refurbishments. We do it all, and we do it exceptionally well.
n
But here's what actually sets us apart:
n
n
- Our systems and processes are best in class you'll have the tools, templates and structure to do your job properly from Day 1
n
- We pay our subbies on time, every time no games, no squeezing margins, no burning relationships. Our subcontractor network wants to work with us, and that makes your job easier
n
- Our reputation precedes us with clients, with subcontractors, and across the industry. When you tell people where you work, they'll nod with genuine respect
n
n
The Role
n
You'll be embedded across exciting, meaningful projects and supported by a leadership team that genuinely invests in your growth.
n
Day to day you'll be across:
n
n
- Subcontract letting, scoping and procurement
n
- Progress claims, variations and cost reporting
n
- Budget management and financial forecasting
n
- RFI management and subcontractor coordination
n
- Supporting project delivery from award through to completion
n
n
Whether you're coming from a New Build, Fitout or Refurb background or a mix of all three you'll find a home here.
n
What You Actually Need
n
n
- 2 to 5 years experience as a Contract Administrator with a reputable builder
n
- Solid understanding of subcontract management and the construction lifecycle as well as Head Contract Experience
n
- A sharp eye for detail and genuine commercial awareness
n
- The ability to build relationships with subbies, clients and your internal team
n
- A hunger to grow, learn and be part of something genuinely great
n
n
Why This Role Is Different
n
Let's be honest about what most CA roles look like:
n
n
- Thrown in the deep end with zero support
n
- Outdated systems that make simple tasks painful
n
- Leadership that talks about mentoring but never delivers
n
- Subbies who don't want to be on your site
n
- A culture that burns people out
n
n
Here's what you get with us:
n
n
- Real mentoring from people who've been in the trenches and want to bring you up
n
- Modern systems that actually work and make your life easier
n
- Flexibility done right not just a buzzword, but a genuine commitment to your life outside of work
n
- A subcontractor network that respects us meaning smoother projects and better outcomes
n
- A seat at the table your voice matters here from the start
n
n
Your Growth Path
n
We don't hire Contract Administrators to keep them as Contract Administrators forever.
n
We hire talented people and build Senior CAs, Project Managers and future leaders from within. If you have ambition, we have a roadmap for you.
n
From Our Team
n
"I've worked for bigger builders. The difference here is that you're not just a number. The support is real, the systems work, and I actually enjoy coming to work." Current Senior CA, 4 years with the business
n
The Package
n
n
- Competitive salary we pay what the market demands and then some
n
- Vehicle allowance or company vehicle
n
- Genuine flexibility arrangements
n
- Ongoing professional development and mentoring
n
- A workplace culture that people actually talk about positively
