Professional Practice & Standards Director

ARITA is seeking an experienced insolvency skilled to join our team in a senior, technically focused role as Professional Practice & Standards Director.

n

This opportunity would suit a Senior Manager or Director with broad corporate and personal insolvency experience, a senior associate‐level solicitor with at least five years' working in insolvency, or a senior investigator from a regulatory background, possibly with prior insolvency firm experience.

n

If you have strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and a deep interest in insolvency work, this role offers the chance to apply your skills at a high level and make a meaningful impact.

n

As the pivotal role shapes the technical and ethical framework for Australia's restructuring and insolvency profession, you will provide expert guidance to the Board, members, and regulators; oversee member complaints and discipline; and contribute to education programs and industry events.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead ARITA's member complaints and disciplinary processes, ensuring integrity and transparency.
n
- Drive technical initiatives, including law reform submissions,



regulatory liaison, and updates to the ARITA Code of Professional Practice.
n
- Contribute to education programs through content development, training delivery, and conference facilitation.
n
- Provide technical and ethical advice to members and stakeholders.
n

What We're Looking For

- Advanced technical knowledge in restructuring, insolvency, and turnaround practice.

- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
n
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain).
