We're looking for aFull-time Client Services Representativeto join our reception team at AEC Kedron.

At AEC & Greencross Kedron, we offer 24/7 emergency and general practice care, with a dedicated team of emergency veterinarians and nurses. Our hospital is known for its high professional and clinical standards, paired with genuine care and compassion for both patients and their owners.

In this role you will be thefirst point of contactfor our clients, playing a vital part in ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for both pets and their owners - particularly in urgent and high-pressure situations. We're looking for someone who is reliable, adaptable, and able to remain calm and professional at all times.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the first point of contact for all client interactions, both in person and over the phone
n
- Manage a multi-line switchboard, including handling high volumes of calls efficiently
n
- Triage and respond appropriately to emergency patient enquiries, escalating when required
n
- Coordinate appointments, inquiries, and client communications
n




- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
n
- Provide explicit information on services, pricing, and hospital policies
n
- Liaise with veterinary staff to support seamless patient care
n
- Process payments and handle basic financial transactions
n
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organised, and welcoming
n
- Assist with general administrative tasks as required
n

About You

n

n
- Previous experience in a client service role (veterinary or medicalexperience highly regarded)
n
- Confident managing a busy switchboard and high call volumes
n
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful or emergency situations
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- A team player who can also work independently when required
n
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
n
- Passion for animals and commitment to excellent customer service
n
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays (day and evenings)
