Job Description

This chance is part of a voluntary professional career internship program (structured learning based) designed to provide practical experience in accounting and finance functions. Participants are placed with a host company to gain exposure to real workplace tasks in an onsite, remote, or project-based environment, depending on availability. This is an internship program intended for learning and skills development.

- Assist with preparing, maintaining and organising accurate financial records, accounting files and source documents
n
- Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting systems, including invoices, receipts, payments and journals
n
- Support bank, credit card and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accounts are accurate and up to date
n
- Assist with accounts payable tasks, including invoice entry, supplier statement checks and payment preparation support
n
- Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including customer invoicing, receipt allocation and debtor follow-up support
n
- Support basic tax accounting tasks, including GST coding, BAS preparation support and tax-related documentation under supervision
n
- Assist with payroll processing, timesheet checks, employee records, payslip preparation and payroll administration
n




- Support trust accounting tasks where applicable, including receipting, ledger updates, reconciliations and compliance records
n
- Assist with month-end processes, including expense checks, report preparation, accrual support and financial data review
n
- Follow accounting procedures, internal controls, confidentiality requirements and relevant compliance standards
n
- Provide general bookkeeping, finance administration and reporting support to the accounting team as required
n
- This is a voluntary internship program designed for educational and professional development purpose

- Participation may involve a placement fee, which is only payable if a placement with a host company is secured. No upfront registration fees apply

- Internships are part-time and flexible, depending on host company requirements
n
- Participants may receive a work experience letter upon completion of the program

- Placement is subject to candidate suitability, host company requirements, and availability

- Completion of the internship does not guarantee employment
