At Altus Traffic, we help keep people safe by delivering professional traffic management services across Queensland and Australia.

Our teams work with road authorities, councils and public and private clients to deliver more than 2 million hours of traffic management services each year.

We’re looking for an experienced Service Delivery Manager to take responsibility for our Bundaberg operation.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day performance and future growth of the Bundaberg operation.

You’ll work closely with our field teams, scheduling team, customers and internal leadership to make sure we deliver safe, reliable and high-quality services.

You’ll:

- Lead, coach and develop the local team
- Take ownership of operational performance and service delivery
- Build strong relationships with existing customers and identify current opportunities
- Support local business development and help grow the Bundaberg operation
- Oversee scheduling, workforce requirements, vehicles and equipment
- Manage operational issues and find practical solutions when things don’t go to plan
- Manage performance, attendance, training and development of team members
- Promote a strong safety culture across the depot and field
- Monitor operational reporting, costs and performance
- Ensure company, client and legislative requirements are met

This is not a desk-only management role. You’ll need to be visible, involved and willing to get amongst the operation and your team.

About You





We’re looking for someone who is a strong people leader and practical operator.

You’ll be someone who:

- Is commercially aware and looks for opportunities to grow the business
- Is comfortable having difficult conversations when required
- Can manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressure

- Understands the importance of safety and compliance

Experience in traffic management, civil construction, transport, logistics, labour hire, field services or another blue-collar operational environment will be highly regarded.

Traffic Control experience is not essential. We are more interested in your ability to lead people, manage customers and run an operation.
