About the Role

n

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Sales Assistant to join our team at Sunshine Marketplace. This is a full time permanent position ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, takes pride in maintaining a well-presented store, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

n

You will be responsible for assisting customers, processing sales transactions, maintaining store presentation, replenishing stock, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the store.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
n
- Assist customers with product enquiries and recommendations.
n
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle transactions accurately.
n
- Replenish stock and maintain product displays.
n
- Ensure the store is clean, organised, and well-presented at all times.
n
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and pricing stock deliveries.
n
- Conduct stock counts and support inventory management activities.
n




- Work towards achieving store sales targets and operational goals.
n
- Follow company policies, procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
n
- Open and close the store when required.
n

- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays when required.

- Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.
n
- Must have full working rights in Australia.
n
- Working Days Must have Sunday and Monday
n
- Should be forthcoming about any long holidays that you are seeking.
