Job Description

LUMA Gelato is expanding, and we are looking for a reliable and motivated person to join our Mooloolaba production team.

This is a hands-on role preparing our gelato, sorbet, sauces and other products in-house. You will follow established recipes, operate production equipment and maintain excellent standards of quality, cleanliness and food safety.

n

Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, café, restaurant, bakery or food-productive environment is required. Gelato-making experience is highly regarded but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare gelato, sorbet, sauces and other products
n
- Accurately weigh and measure ingredients
n
- Follow recipes and production schedules
n
- Operate and clean production equipment
n
- Maintain consistent product quality
n
- Label, store and rotate ingredients correctly
n
- Follow food-safety, hygiene and allergen procedures
n




- Monitor stock and keep the production area organised
n
