About the Role

n

As a CNC Laser Operator, you will play an important role in our production team by ensuring components are cut accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Setting up and operating CNC laser cutting machines
n
- Loading and unloading sheet material safely and efficiently
n
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and job specifications
n
- Selecting and verifying correct materials for production
n
- Conducting first-off and in-process quality inspections
n
- Performing routine machine maintenance and housekeeping
n
- Working closely with production and scheduling teams to meet delivery deadlines
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment
n
- Experience with fibre laser technology will be highly regarded
n
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
n




- Good computer skills and confidence using CNC control systems
n
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
n

n

Experience with Trumpf, Bystronic, Amada, Bodor, Yawei, Mitsubishi or similar CNC laser systems is highly regarded.

n

Experience operating CNC plasma, waterjet, turret punch, or other CNC profiling equipment will also be considered.

n
