The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Physiotherapist - Senior (Emergency) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern Current South Wales region of Australia.

You will
n
n
- Deliver high level physiotherapy clinical services as part of a multi-professional team
n
- Undertake high level physiotherapy duties within the Emergency Department
n
- Initiate, develop, implement and evaluate quality and service improvement activities
n
- Contribute to and promote emergency department and physiotherapy clinical research activities
n
n
About you
n
To be successful in this position you will require:
n
n
- Tertiary degree in Physiotherapy
n
- Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
n
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
n
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
n
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
n
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
n

- Base salary ranging from $64.64 - $69.55 per hour
