Job Description

Seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to join our team in Wagga Wagga, NSW. As a full time Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations on our construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

n

Manage and coordinate construction activities to meet project timelines and milestones

n

Monitor and oversee the work of subcontractors, tradespeople and labourers to ensure compliance with safety, quality and productivity standards

n

Conduct regular site inspections and provide progress reports to the project management team

n

Identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks that could impact the project schedule

n

Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to address queries and concerns

n

Ensure all construction work is carried out in accordance with relevant building codes, regulations and company policies

n

Actively participate in the site's safety program and promote a positive safety culture

n

Manage site administration, including timesheets, materials ordering and equipment maintenance

n

What we're looking for

n

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Construction Site Manager

n





Proven track record of successfully managing commercial or industrial construction projects (defence experience valued, but not essential)

n

Excellent understanding of construction methods, building codes and workplace health and safety regulations

n

Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making abilities

n

Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications and drawings

n

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

n

Certificate IV in Building and Construction (or higher) preferred
