We are currently looking for enthusiastic and detail - focused Safety Coordinator to join our team on permanent part time basis.

n

You will support the Systems Manager, Construction Manager, Project Managers and on site team by ensuring compliance with our internal systems, policies and procedures, reduce risk and promote a positive safety culture across the business.

n

Duties

n

n
- Ensuring all PPE and safety policies are being followed
n
- Promote and support workplace health and safety initiatives
n
- Conduct Safety audits and workplace inspections
n
- Identification of hazards and recommendations on risk controls
n
- Implementation of Site Safety Management plan on site
n
- Attend and contribute to toolbox talks, safety meetings and inductions
n




- Assist with incident investigation and incident reporting
n
- Support implementation of OHS procedures
n
- Assist in maintaining compliance to current safety legislation and standards - ISO45001 & OFSC
n
- Provide support to onsite teams with project documentation as needed
n

About you

n

n
- Minimum Cert IV in In WHS / OHS
n
- Min 3 years construction industry experience
n
- Robust understanding of safety documentation and compliance
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
n
- Valid Driver's Licence and white card
n
- Proven people engagement skills with a high degree of tact, efficiency and professionalism
n
- A proactive and supportive attitude towards safety and teamwork
n
- Team player, self-motivated, reliable and trustworthy
n
- Must be interested in a variety of work & learning new skills & constantly growing
n
