The Role

We are looking for a Cafe Manager to take ownership of the Café at Adelaide St. The right person will be experienced and passionate with a strong hospitality background with the ability to lead a team to execute the ultimate customer experience. Responsible for managing a team of passionate Baristas, this role requires a person who possesses both strong coffee and leadership skills to deliver an outstanding and memorable customer experience.

Tasks and responsibilities:

n

n
- Develop a positive team culture, consistent with the Industry Beans brand values
n
- Drive a market leading service experience and establishing a standard that all team members follow
n
- Inspire team members to excel providing ongoing support, coaching and instill an appreciation for quality
n




- Providing coaching and direction to the team; training and performance management as required
n
- Managing the venue's administration, systems and ordering
n
- Rostering the team to provide optimal coverage throughout the day whilst maintaining budgets.
n
- Identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve the customer experience
n
- Maintain quality, standards, safety and presentation of Café
n

You'll be perfect for this role if you have:

n

n
- A passion for specialty coffee and hospitality
n
- At least three years' experience in a similar management role
n
- Strong all-round Customer service and Barista skills
n
- The ability to influence, lead by example and achieve buy-in from your team
n
- A passion for creating the ultimate customer experience
n
- Advanced interpersonal, communication, customer service and leadership skills
n
- A strong work ethic with the ability to meet and surpass KPIs
n
- Both an ability and enthusiasm to manage systems and software
n
- A current First Aid and CPR certificate (desirable)
n
