ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team on a casual/temporary basis. If you bring over 5 years of solid CNC programming expertise and are proficient with industry-standard software such as SolidWorks, SigmaNEST, and Tops Boost, this is the perfect opportunity to contribute to a dynamic production environment and take your skills to the next level.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

n

- Receive and interpret engineering drawings from customers and the design team.
n
- Prepare and edit CAD files to meet production requirements.
n
- Use SigmaNEST or Tops Boost software to nest parts efficiently onto metal sheets.
n
- Generate CNC programs for laser cutters, punch presses, and other sheet metal machinery.
n
- Optimize material usage and reduce production time while maintaining quality.
n




- Collaborate closely with production staff to ensure CNC programs are executed smoothly and accurately.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

n

n
- 5+ years of experience programming CNC sheet metal machinery.
n
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software for sheet metal design.
n
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with SigmaNEST for nesting and CNC program generation.
n
- Experience using Tops Boost (Bystronic BySoft) for laser cutting and sheet metal machinery programming.
n
- Excellent understanding of CAD to read and modify technical drawings effectively.
n
- A detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills.
n
- Ability to work collaboratively with production teams to ensure smooth operations.
