The Chance

n

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Quarry Operator to join our team at our Bacquus Marsh Quarry.

n

Reporting to the Quarry Supervisor, you will be responsible for safely operating mobile plant equipment, loading customers, supporting production activities, maintaining stockpiles, and ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the site.

n

Hourly Rate: $35.73 per hour plus superannuation and applicable penalties.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Operate loaders, excavators, graders, and other quarry mobile equipment safely and efficiently.
n
- Operate a sales loader and load customer trucks.
n
- Support quarry production and processing operations.
n
- Assist with stockpile management and material movement.
n
- Undertake routine plant inspections and basic maintenance checks.
n
- Maintain a clean and safe work setting.
n
- Adhere to all safety, environmental,



and quality standards.
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience operating Loaders, Excavators, and Graders.
n
- Previous experience within a quarry, mining, construction, or similar heavy industry environment.
n
- Experience operating a Sales Loader.
n
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Current Driver's Licence.
n
- Experience in sand and pebble washing operations will be highly regarded.
n
- Experience in mud and clay processing is advantageous.
n
- Relevant machinery tickets and quarry experience will be highly regarded.
n
