Job Description
What you'll be doing
n
Conducting routine maintenance and servicing of diesel engines, including oil changes, fluid top-ups and filter replacements
n
Troubleshooting and diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues on diesel-powered equipment
n
Repairing and rebuilding diesel engine components as required
n
Liaising with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements
n
Maintaining detailed records of all work performed
n
Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
n
What we're looking for
n
Formal qualifications in Automotive Diesel Mechanics or a related field
n
Extensive experience (5+ years) working as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in an onsite field service environment
n
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues
n
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
n
Positive communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
n
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
n
We are also looking for 3rd or 4th year apprentices
n
