About the Role
n
We're looking for a Senior Digital Front End Engineer to lead the development of high-quality, accessible, and visually engaging digital experiences. You'll collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to bring user interfaces to life, ensuring they're performant, secure, and aligned with UX best practices. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on crafting elegant front-end solutions and enjoys mentoring others in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Accountabilities:
n
n
- Deliver responsive, accessible, and scalable front-end solutions that meet business and user needs
n
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to ensure seamless integration
n
- Support testing activities and maintain clear documentation for support and change management
n
- Champion accessibility, performance, and secure coding standards
n
- Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, and post-implementation retrospectives
n
- Stay current with front-end trends and apply learnings to improve delivery outcomes
n
- Promote customer-centric thinking in all aspects of front-end development
n
- API Development: MuleSoft (AWS-hosted)
n
- Source Control: GitHub, Bitbucket
n
n
About You
n
You're a front-end specialist with a passion for crafting beautiful, functional, and accessible user interfaces. You bring strong analytical skills and a design sensibility that helps bridge the gap between user needs and technical execution. You work autonomously, communicate clearly across disciplines, and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Your Skills & Experience
n
n
- Proven experience building modern SPAs using React.js and Next.js
n
- Proficient with CSS development techniques including CSS Modules, CSS-in-JS, SAAS and LESS
n
- Robust grasp of UI design principles including responsive/adaptive layouts and accessibility standards
n
- Experience configuring front-end build tools and managing dependencies using Vite, NPM, and PNPM
n
- Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining front-end tests using Jest, Vitest, Playwright, and Cypress
n
- Proficiency with Git practices and collaborative branching strategies
n
- Clear awareness of OWASP Top 10, ES5 and ES6 standards, and secure coding practices
n
- Exposure to CI/CD best practices and build/deployment automation tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
n
- Agile delivery experience (Scrum or Kanban); SAFe exposure highly regarded
n
n
Highly Desirable
n
n
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and micro front-end or microservices architecture
n
- Familiarity with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and cloud-native development patterns
n
- Proficiency in static code analysis (e.g. SonarQube), performance profiling (e.g. dotTrace), and observability best practices
n
- Awareness of cloud security best practices and holding or pursuing AWS certification
n
