Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Recruitment Officer to join our busy Hornsby office. Conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from Hornsby Train Station, this is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and fast-paced team.

About the Role

n

This is a busy, hands-on recruitment role responsible for sourcing and onboarding quality personnel across multiple construction disciplines.

n

You will be responsible for recruiting and coordinating:

n

n
- Traffic Controllers
n
- General & Skilled Labourers
n
- Plant Operators
n
- Crane Crew
n

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- End-to-end recruitment and onboarding.
n
- Advertising vacancies across multiple recruitment platforms.
n
- Screening resumes and conducting interviews.
n
- Completing reference and pre-employment checks.
n
- Coordinating inductions and compliance documentation.
n
- Maintaining candidate records and recruitment databases.
n
- Matching suitable candidates to current and upcoming workforce requirements.
n




- Working closely with the Operations team to ensure labour requirements are met.
n
- Building and maintaining a strong talent pool for ongoing project demands.
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Previous recruitment experience (essential).
n
- Previous experience recruiting within the construction or labour hire industry (essential).
n
- Sound understanding of construction roles and site requirements.
n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Ability to prioritise multiple vacancies in a fast-paced workplace.
n
- High attention to detail and strong administration skills.
n
- Experience using Microsoft Office and recruitment systems.
n
