Job Description
We are a Sydney based building company and are currently seeking an experienced full time Site Engineer to join our team. As part of your role, you will also manage Contract Administration. This position offers the opportunity to develop a diverse skill set with the potential to lead to a Project Management role in the future.

Responsibilities
n
n
- Ensure compliance with Head Contract including progress claims, variations and correspondence
n
- Manage subcontract tender processes, including evaluation, negotiation and risk assessment
n
- Administer subcontracts including payment claims, invoices, variations and correspondence
n
- Maintain contract documentation and ensure compliance
n
- Month end reporting and forecasting
n
- Liaise effectively with all subcontractors, designers and suppliers to maintain skilled and reliable working relationships
n
- Manage I.T.P and Quality Control
n
- Monitor and update program as required
n
n
Skills and Experiences
n
n
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within Australia
n
- Specific experience in residential building construction projects is required
n
- Preferably degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field
n
- Proficient in Procore, MS Word, MS Project, Excel, MS Access and Outlook
n
- Familiar with National Construction Code, Australian Standards and WHSE legislation
n
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and scope of work
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to adapt to changing project conditions
n
- Australian work authorisation is required for this position
