Site Supervisor — Commercial Fit-Out & Refurbishment

About the role

n

We're looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to take day‐to‐day ownership of a live commercial refurbishment project. You'll be on site full‐time from 6.30am through to site close, with occasional Saturdays as required, running the site as if it were your own — not waiting to be asked.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Full day‐to‐day management of the site: programme, trades, deliveries and site presentation
n
- Coordinating and driving subcontractors to hit dates
n
- Proactively identifying issues, raising them early and closing them out — you chase the answer before it becomes a problem
n
- Daily site walk‐throughs, defect and quality checks, and keeping the site clean, safe and compliant
n
- Managing WHS on site including toolbox talks, permits, SWMS review and hazardous materials protocols
n




- Clear daily communication with the Project Director on progress, blockers and lookaheads
n

What we're looking for

n

Must have:

n

n
- White Card
n
- QBCC Site Supervisor licence
n
- Proven experience supervising commercial construction projects
n

n

Also looking for:

n

n
- 3+ years site supervision experience on commercial fit‐out, refurbishment or new build projects
n
- Trade background preferred (carpentry or similar)
n
- Robust subcontractor coordination — you exhaust your own contacts and options before escalating
n
- Working knowledge of QLD WHS requirements; experience on sites with asbestos removal highly regarded
n
- Current driver's licence and own reliable transport
n
- Organised, accountable and comfortable being the one who owns the site day to day
n
