Universal Welding Services Pty Ltdis seeking a reliable and motivatedYardperson / Storepersonto join our team at our structural steel fabrication facility inStapylton, Queensland.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, safety-focused and comfortable working in a busy workshop and yard environment.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Receive, inspect and store incoming steel, materials and deliveries
n
Load and unload trucks using a forklift
n
Deliver and collect materials using company vehicles
n
Picker and prepare materials for workshop and site projects
n
Maintain accurate stock and delivery records
n
Organise and maintain the yard, storage areas and workshop
n
Check deliveries against purchase orders and delivery dockets
n
Coordinate with workshop, project and procurement team
n
Complete general yard and store duties as required
n
Follow all company safety procedures and site requirements
n
CurrentHR Driver Licence
n
CurrentHigh Risk Work Forklift Licence (LF)
n
Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, stores or construction environment
n
Experience loading, restraining and transporting materials
n
Valuable communication and organisational skills
n
Ability to complete basic paperwork and use electronic systems
n
Physically fit and comfortable performing manual tasks
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Reliable, punctual and able to work both independently and as part of a team
n
Knowledge of steel products, sections and fittings
n
Dogging or rigging licence
n
Construction White Card
n
