We are now seeking professional, detail-driven Allocators to join our Operations team. This role is central to our day-to-day performance; coordinating contractors, managing job bookings, and keeping operations moving across multiple projects.

About the Role

n

The Allocator is responsible for managing incoming job bookings from customers and project teams, allocating the right contractors and equipment, and maintaining accurate data within our OMS system.

n

This role requires someone who is organised, calm under pressure, and able to make clear decisions in a quick-moving environment.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Handle a high volume of inbound calls professionally and efficiently

n

Enter and manage job bookings in OMS (Operations Management System) with accuracy

n

Communicate clearly with customers, sales staff and project teams

n

Allocate compliant contractors and equipment to scheduled jobs

n

Build strong working relationships with contractors and support ongoing recruitment

n

Set up new COD accounts, verify details and process pre-authorisations

n

Maintain accurate job notes and documentation

n

Identify unsupplied jobs and proactively work towards solutions

n

Support Lantrak's Transport Manager with contractor performance monitoring

n

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Confident using systems and learning new processes

Able to prioritise, problem-solve and stay ahead of operational needs
