NQ Auto Group is Townsville's home for Nissan, Renault and Suzuki, and we're on the hunt for someone who lives and breathes cars and knows that a well-maintained vehicle isn't just a nice-to-have — it's what keeps families secure on the road.

The gig

You'll be the crucial link between our technicians and our customers. When our techs spot additional or preventative work a vehicle needs, you're the one who takes that, turns it into a clear quote, picks up the phone, and helps the customer understand why it matters — then closes the sale. You're not flogging things people don't need; you're helping people keep their pride and joy safe, reliable and roadworthy. That's a much easier sell, and a much better night's sleep.

You'll work hand-in-glove with our Workshop Controller and Technicians, live and breathe the rhythm of a busy workshop, and from time to time step into the Workshop Controller's shoes when they're away. It's a role with variety, responsibility and a genuine crack at making the department better.

You'll thrive here if you:

- Genuinely love cars and can talk about them without needing a script
n
- Have the gift of the gab and the integrity to back it — you sell because it's the right thing, not just the profitable thing
n
- Are comfortable in a workshop environment and understand how one ticks
n
- Can juggle quotes, phone calls and priorities without dropping the ball
n
- Have the confidence (or the potential) to hold the fort as Workshop Controller when needed
n
- Bring energy, drive and a "let's smash today's numbers" attitude

Bonus points for:

dealership or automotive experience, parts or service background, or a trade qualification — but if you've got the passion, the people skills and the sales instinct, we want to hear from you.

- $60,000 base + superannuation, plus an uncapped performance bonus — on-target earnings around $80,000, and because the bonus is uncapped, a genuine seller can push well beyond that
