We are a well-established FMCG manufacturer supplying national retailers and foodservice partners across Australia. As our business continues to grow in scale and complexity, we are seeking a strong operational leader to take full ownership of our warehouse and logistics function.

This is a pivotal execution role focused on service reliability, freight discipline and inventory accuracy across a multiple warehouses.

The Chance

n

Reporting to the COO, you will lead warehouse, dispatch and logistics operations, ensuring consistent DIFOT performance while maintaining strong cost control and operational discipline.

n

You will partner closely with S&OP;, Production, Procurement and Sales to ensure planning translates into reliable execution.

n

This role requires a hands-on leader who is comfortable operating on the warehouse floor while maintaining clear commercial oversight.

Key Responsibilities

n

Lead warehouse and dispatch operations across multiple sites

n

Own DIFOT performance and reduce service penalties

n

Drive freight cost optimisation and manage carrier performance

n

Strengthen 3PL relationships and contractual performance standards

n

Improve inventory accuracy and stock integrity within SAP

n

Establish clear daily and weekly KPI governance rhythms

n

Improve labour productivity and warehouse efficiency

n

Ensure compliance with safety, food safety and regulatory requirements

n

Build capability and accountability within frontline leadership teams

n

What Success Looks Like

Within 12 months you will have:

About You

n

8–15 years' experience in FMCG warehouse and logistics leadership (food manufacturing preferred)

n

Proven experience operating in SAP or equivalent ERP/WMS environments

n

Demonstrated ability to stabilise and improve underperforming warehouse operations

n

Strong commercial acumen with disciplined cost control capability

n

Experience managing 3PL providers and freight partners

n

Structured, calm and decisive leadership style

n

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment

n
