About the Role

n

We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our Short-Term Accommodation (STA) team in Maroubra. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment and making a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disability.

n

You'll support participants with daily living, community access, and engaging activities in a safe, positive, and person-centred environment. Every day is different, and your energy and care will help create memorable and empowering experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide personal care and daily living support
n
- Assist with community access, outings, and recreational activities
n
- Support meal preparation and household tasks
n
- Administer and document medication as required
n
- Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies
n
- Complete accurate documentation and progress notes
n




- Promote independence, dignity, and choice for all participants
n

n

Shift Options

n

n
- 8:00am – 3:00pm
n
- 3:00pm – 10:00pm (Weekday availability required)
n

n

What We're Looking For

n

- Experience in disability, aged care, or community support
n
- Confidence supporting participants with behaviours of concern
n
- A positive, reliable, and compassionate attitude
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
n
- First Aid & CPR certification
n
- Valid Driver's Licence
n
- Ability to complete documentation and follow support plans
n
