The Role: National Sales Manager – Packaging
n
Location: Open to applicants based on the East Coast.
n
Reporting to the Divisional General Manager, this role leads the national sales function, managing key accounts and contracts and a team of Sales professionals across multiple states.
n
You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding new business opportunities, and strengthening key supply and account relationships across the organisation's full product and service offering.
n
This role plays a key part in shaping and delivering strategic initiatives, while ensuring day-to-day sales operations, pipeline management, and team performance align with business objectives.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Lead and develop a high-performing National Sales Team
n
- Manage key accounts and look to grow high level opportunities
n
- Drive revenue growth, profitability,
and achievement of sales targets
n
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across markets
n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
n
- Oversee sales pipeline, forecasting, and CRM accuracy
n
- Use data and insights to optimise performance and outcomes
n
- Partner with senior leadership to deliver sales strategy and growth initiatives
n
- Support pricing, product mix, and commercial decision-making
n
- Act as an escalation point for key customer matters
n
n
What You'll Need
n
n
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior sales leadership role
n
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing sales teams
n
- Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
n
- Experience in packaging or a related industry (highly desirable)
n
- Strong commercial acumen and decision-making capability
n
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
n
- Advanced Microsoft Office and CRM system experience
n
- Experience presenting and delivering proposals at a senior level
n
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
n
