Join the team at Citywide Home Loans' as a Loan Writer / Mortgage Broker Assistant. In this full-time position based in Sydney Olympic Park, NSW, you will be responsible for assisting customers throughout the mortgage application process. What you'll be doing

n

Conducting detailed interviews with customers to understand their financial situation and mortgage needs

n

Preparing and processing loan applications, ensuring all required documentation is submitted

n

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, such as credit assessors and conveyancers, to progress loan applications

n

Providing exceptional customer service and responding to inquiries in a timely and qualified manner

n

Maintaining accurate records and complying with all relevant regulations and policies

n

Identifying cross-sell opportunities and referring customers to other Citywide Home Loans' products and services

n

Contributing to the continuous improvement of loan processing procedures and documentation

n

What we're looking for

n

Proven experience in a similar loan writer or mortgage processing role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry

n

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in loan writer or mortgage processing roles

n

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide excellent customer service

n





Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate and timely loan processing

n

Proficient in the use of mortgage application software and other relevant digital tools

n

A keen interest in the mortgage and property market, with a good understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements

n

Commitment to professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with changes in the mortgage industry

n
