About the Company

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing finance team in Toowong, working closely with an experienced Financial Controller who is looking for someone they can develop into a broader accounting role over time.

n

While the position starts with a strong focus on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and finance operations, you'll also gain exposure to month-end reporting, journals, reconciliations and process improvement initiatives as your responsibilities grow.

About the Role

n

Reporting directly to the Financial Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day finance function, gaining exposure across the business and playing a key part in their continuous improvement projects across reporting, processes and controls. Your day to day will include:

- End-to-end Accounts Payable processing
n
- Accounts Receivable, invoicing and collections
n
- Supplier and customer account management
n
- Bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations
n
- Cash flow reporting and treasury support
n
- Journal preparation and posting
n
- Audit and compliance support
n
- Assisting with month-end activities and reporting
n

About You

n

You could be:

n





An experienced Accounts Officer with a Bachelors in Accounting looking for the next step; or

n

An Assistant Accountant wanting broader exposure and more responsibility.

n

You'll ideally bring:

n

Experience across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

n

Robust reconciliation skills

n

High attention to detail and demonstrated problem solving ability

n

A proactive and organised approach

n

Accounting qualifications or current studies will be highly regarded

n

Most importantly, you'll be looking for a role where you can continue learning and develop beyond purely transactional finance.
