Guard Rail Installer/Construction Labourer

Protected Edge Guard Rail is a commercial temporary Guard Rail installation company operating for over six years specialising in providing temporary safety rail across both domestic and commercial sites in Victoria.

n

A current position has arisen seeking a leading hand or a team leader to run a team of 2-3. We are looking for someone with someone with experience in the industry. Minimum of 1 year experience in the Guard Rail Industry

n

We are looking for Guard Rail Installers/ or Construction Labourers to join our team in Tullamarine and our growing workload. If you are looking for a positive career move, to a supportive team environment then Protected Edge is for you.

Qualifications & experience

n

Experience with guard rail, scaffolding, working at heights or trades is essential.

n

Construction white card

n

Working with children's check (or willing to obtain)

n

Over 11 m boom ticket (or willing to obtain)

n

Current Australian Drivers Licence

n

To be reliable,



punctual and work well in a small team

n

Seeking a professional and safety focussed mindset

n

Physically fit to carry out manual handling tasks

n

Working at Heights training is favourable

n

Tasks & responsibilities

n

Completing multiple installations and dismantles of temporary roof edge protection on a daily basis

n

Safely handle and transport rail materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site

n

Competitive compensation, commensurate with your experience and skills

Truck supplied - no costs for the truck

n

Materials and power tools supplied

n

Skill development, opportunity for ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and expertise guard rail systems

Full time hours, Monday to Friday. Typically 8 hour days.

Ability to travel around Victoria to different job sites and see new places
