Financial Planning Assistant (Private Wealth)

Are you a recent Finance, Commerce or Business graduate looking to launch your career in financial services?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected private wealth team where you'll gain hands-on exposure to investment markets, financial planning support and client relationship management. Working alongside experienced advisers, you'll receive on-the-job training while building a strong foundation for a long-term career in wealth management.

The Opportunity
n
As a Financial Planning Assistant, you'll play a key role supporting a team of Private Wealth Advisers with day-to-day operations, client service and administration. You'll be the first point of contact for clients while ensuring the smooth running of adviser activities and maintaining exceptional service standards.
n
This is a fast-paced, professional environment where no two days are the same.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Provide exceptional service to clients via phone, email and face-to-face interactions.
n
- Coordinate adviser meetings, appointments and client communications.
n
- Prepare and distribute client correspondence and documentation.
n
- Maintain accurate client records and investment portfolio information.
n
- Assist with investment transactions, corporate actions and settlements.
n
- Prepare portfolio reports and support ongoing client administration.
n
- Manage incoming correspondence, scanning, filing and document management.
n
- Support the day-to-day operations of the office, meeting rooms and administrative functions.
n
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who is eager to learn,
enjoys working with people and has a genuine interest in financial markets and wealth management.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
- A recent degree in Finance, Commerce, Business or a related discipline.
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability.
n
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
n
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
n
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
n
- A professional and client-focused approach.
n
n
Previous administration or customer service experience within financial services is advantageous but not essential.
n
