Working from our modern, clean workshop, you'll help manufacture world-leading mining simulator products. You'll be part of a skilled team producing complex, low-volume, high-quality custom-built equipment. About the Role

n

Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the fabrication and manufacture of light-gauge steel and aluminium components, using a range of sheet metal and welding processes to produce precision parts and assemblies.

n

Your duties will include:

n

n
- MIG and TIG welding
n




- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
n
- Maintaining high-quality workmanship and close tolerances
n
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Working safely and maintaining excellent workshop housekeeping standards
n

n

What We're Looking For

n

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

n

n
- Trade Qualification (Certificate III Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent)
n
- Minimum 4 years post-trade experience
n
- Experience working with light-gauge sheet metal and aluminium
n
- Strong MIG and TIG welding skills
n
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
- Ability to work independently and within a team
n
- Good time management and housekeeping standards
n
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Experience operating a Press Brake
n
- Experience in custom manufacturing or design and development environments
n

n
