Position: Centre Manager
n Location: Meadowbank, Sydney, NSW
n Employment Type: Full-time
n Salary: From $80,000 per annum plus superannuation, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
n
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Centre Manager to lead the daily operations of our service and support our team in delivering high-quality education and care.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Oversee the day-to-day operations and overall management of the service
n
Act as the Nominated Supervisor and Responsible Person, where required
n
Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations, ACECQA requirements and Child Care Subsidy obligations
n
Maintain accurate records, policies, procedures and compliance documentation
n
Lead the service's Quality Improvement Plan and support Assessment and Rating preparation
n
Lead, mentor and support educators through regular feedback, professional development and performance management
n
Manage staffing arrangements, rosters, educator-to-child ratios and qualification requirements
n
Promote a positive, professional and collaborative workplace culture
n
Maintain high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
n
Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, staff, regulatory authorities and local community
n
Manage enrolments, occupancy, family enquiries and service tours
n
Monitor budgets,
operational expenses and other financial processes
n
Ensure the health, safety, wellbeing and protection of all children attending the service
n
Manage incidents, complaints and regulatory notifications appropriately and within required timeframes
n
Support continuous improvement across all areas of the service
n
Previous experience working as a Centre Manager, Centre Director or in a comparable early childhood leadership role is mandatory
n
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or an approved higher qualification, such as a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
n
Strong working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations, EYLF, ACECQA requirements and Child Care Subsidy obligations
n
Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and managing a team of educators
n
Strong understanding of staffing ratios, qualification requirements, compliance and service operations
n
Excellent organisational, leadership and problem-solving skills
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
Ability to communicate professionally with families, staff, regulatory authorities and external stakeholders
n
Current NSW Working with Children Check
n
Current approved First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certifications
n
Current Child Protection training
n
