We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented assembly technicians to join our cable and fine assembly teams, in Tennyson.

n

These roles are suitable for entry level applicants who wish to learn. On the job training will be provided.

n

In these hands-on roles, you will be responsible for assembling components and products according to specifications while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

n

Key responsibilities:

n

n
- Assembly of high-volume electronic modules for the telecommunications market as well as prototype units
n
- Build and assemble DC and RF circuits for telecommunication microwave modules
n
- Perform assembly of wire looms, including wire cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, termination, testing, and inspection to meet production and quality requirements
n
- Assembly production jigs, accessories, and prototype assemblies or subassemblies
n
- Perform basic functional testing of electronic circuits
n
- Operate specialised manufacturing equipment including wire/ribbon bonding, gap welding,



die placing, reflow soldering, vapour degreasing and hand soldering
n
- Actively participate in training programs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
n

Key requirements:

n

n
- Ability to perform work under a microscope
n
- Aptitude to read and interpret technical instructions and drawings
n
- Outstanding fine motor skills and high level of attention to detail
n
- Good verbal and written communication skills
n
- Demonstrated experience in miniature assembly (or related activities)
n
- Experience in an electronics manufacturing workplace is desirable
n
- Proven experience in operating microscopes and effectively interpreting the images
n
- IPC standards certifications such as IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620 or equivalent will be highly regarded
n
