Materials handling company Starlluf cranes Pty Ltd T/A Cranetec specializing in overhead cranes and lifting equipment has many large organizational customers. Due to rapid growth of business, we are seeking a Service Technician -Electrical with solid experience and positive mechanical aptitude for our Beresfield Branch.

Job Summary
n
As a Service Technician-Electrical your roles will include but not limited to:
n
Examining specifications and preparing materials and equipment for installations
n
Responsible for installations of cranes including connecting new wires and cables to connectors and handling materials and other equipment in a professional and tradesman like manner.
n
Carrying out project and preventative maintenance work by diagnosing faults and repairing faulty electrical parts
n
To communicate with clients in a professional manner.
n
Ensure work is performed, within agreed times and to an acceptable standard
n
Ensuring all work complies with current Australian and State standards.
n
Requirement:
n
Trade certificate or Diploma in electrical
n
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in same or similar position within the last 5 years
n
Industrial maintenance repair and service experience
n
Experience in troubleshooting and fault finding and servicing of Overhead cranes.
n
Ability to work with minimal supervision is essential.
n
Good communication skills and presentation
n
Working at Heights certificate
n
A positive and self-motivated attitude
n
Sound problem solving skills
n
Understand electrical design and fault finding
n
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities
n
Understanding of OH&S;
n
Current driver's license
n

Attractive hourly rate, $50.00-$60.00, depending on work experience
