The department provides a diverse clinical experience encompassing adult and paediatric emergencies, rural trauma, critically ill children, toxicology and complex regional presentations.

Registrars work alongside experienced FACEMs, with strong consultant coverage, structured education and comprehensive support for doctors progressing through ACEM training.

- ACEM accredited for 18 months of Emergency Department training

- Able to fulfil the Paediatric Emergency Portfolio (PEP)

Advanced Training Opportunities
n
Advanced Trainees have access to a range of valuable rotations, including:

- 6-month Anaesthetics rotation

- 3- or 6-month ICU rotation

- 6-month Retrieval Medicine rotation
n
n
The combination of Emergency Medicine, ICU, Anaesthetics and Retrieval Medicine provides an excellent foundation for doctors progressing towards FACEM.

- Consultant coverage on site from 7:00am to midnight daily
