My Spicery Pty Ltd is an Australian company based in Victoria, operating in the food services and retail sector, known for offering Indian groceries, spices, sweets, and specialty products, with a presence in Lyndhurst.

- Oversee daily retail store operations to ensure efficiency and compliance.
n
- Implement company policies, procedures, and standards.
n
- Monitor store performance and drive continuous improvement.
n
- Lead initiatives to achieve sales targets and maximise profitability.
n
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional service.
n
- Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
n
- Recruit, train, and supervise retail staff to maintain service standards.
n
- Schedule shifts and allocate tasks to meet operational needs.
n
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
n
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and replenishment to avoid shortages.
n
- Oversee merchandising, product displays, and promotional activities.
n
- Conduct regular stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory records.
n
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial performance of the store.
n
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
n
- Maintain accurate business records and provide reports to management.
n
- Negotiate pricing, delivery,



and product quality with suppliers.
n
- Coordinate with internal departments to align retail operations with company goals.

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field. In the absence of formal qualifications, at least three years of significant commercial experience in a similar role at a similar level may substitute.

- Minimum of 1‐2 years' relevant experience in retail management or supervisory roles within the food or grocery sector.
n
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, merchandising, and customer service practices.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
n
- Energetic, hard‐working, and adaptable to dynamic retail environments.
n
- Personable and a good team player with leadership capability.

Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 per annum

Contract: Full-time / Permanent

Hours: Standard store hours, weekends and public holidays may be required.
