CatholicCare Central Queensland is seeking a highly organised Scheduling Assistant to join our Group Activities & Transport team. This is a rapid-paced and rewarding role where you'll play a key part in ensuring our clients receive reliable, high-quality services through effective scheduling and coordination.

About the Role

n

As a Scheduling Assistant, you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day coordination of client services by:

n

n
- Planning and coordinating daily service schedules to ensure efficient service delivery.
n
- Managing roster changes in response to staff absences, client requests and operational needs.
n
- Identifying and resolving routine scheduling issues while escalating more complex matters when required.
n
- Maintaining accurate client, attendance, service and scheduling records.
n
- Providing exceptional customer service through professional and timely communication.
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Previous experience in scheduling, rostering or workforce coordination.
n

n

In addition to the above, you will need to demonstrate:

n

n
- Experience using rostering, scheduling, and client management systems, with the ability to maintain accurate records, manage competing priorities, and meet operational requirements.
n
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
n
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, including coordinating multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing priorities.
n
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in the use of relevant software applications.
n
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing positively to shared goals and outcomes.
