South City Panels, located in South Geelong, is a spacious and modern workshop that handles small to large-scale repairs. Our dedicated team of 17 professionals works in a well-equipped environment featuring two spray booths with extractors and a Car-O-Liner 3D measuring system. We offer ample off-street parking, adaptable work hours, and above-award wages for the right candidate.

The Opportunity

n

We're looking for a motivated 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Panel Beater to join our team.

n

Kick-start your career with a 2026 Victorian Training Awards finalist, recognised for excellence in apprentice development and industry collaboration.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for an apprentice who is progressing through their trade and looking to further develop their skills in a professional, supportive environment. Working alongside experienced technicians, you'll gain hands‐on experience across a variety of repair work and continue building the knowledge and confidence needed to become a qualified Panel Beater.

This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities available.

What You'll Do

n

n
- Disassemble vehicles and label parts for storage
n
- Identify damaged or broken parts and report them to the Estimator
n
- Check all replacement parts for accuracy and damage
n
- Carry out repairs in line with the Repair Method and Job Sheet
n




- Assist with structural and non-structural repairs under supervision
n
- Reassemble vehicles to specified requirements
n
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Currently completing a 3rd or 4th Year Apprenticeship in Panel Beating
n
- A strong passion for the automotive repair industry
n
- Growing knowledge of panel repair techniques and workshop practices
n
- Reliable with excellent attention to detail
n
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced tradespeople
n
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
