About The Role

n

The Restoration Technician is responsible for site reporting, technical restoration, treatment and cleaning of allocated sites. It is predominantlya multi-site based role and includes dealing with customers and utilising specialised restoration equipment.

n

Tasks Include:

n

n
- Conduct initial make-safe works for water, mould, fire and other restoration related projects.
n
- Complete reports and technician duties for water damage, fire damage & mould projects.
n
- Carry out installation, monitoring and reporting of mitigation & restoration equipment.
n
- Complete mould cleaning and fire wash down of relevant areas including the usage of restoration chemicals.
n
- Complete inventory reports restorable/non restorable contents items
n
- Complete steam-cleaning of carpets.
n
- Liaise with internal office staff, project managers, external contractors & clients.
n
- Work closely with office-based project coordination teams, estimators/supervisors and managers.
n
- Work to deliver quality, customer service focussed and WHS compliant restoration outcomes.
n
- Adhere to company guidelines/policies.
n
- Be available for on-call emergency work allocation (weekends & overtime).
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Full Drivers License and Construction Induction Card.
n
- Have a current Working with Children Check and police check (or willing to obtain prior to commencement).
n
- IICRC qualification highly regarded.
n

n

Key Skills & Attributes:

n

n
- 2+ years experience in Insurance Restoration industry is highly desirable but training will be provided for those with less experience
n
- Experience managing multiple work sites
n
- Customer service skills and good communication skills are essential
n
- Most importantly a strong work ethic,
