Job Description

DevSecOps transform requirements into software according to design, to maximize business value and customer satisfaction. He/She must be able to do System integration, for cloud or on-prem infrastructure.

Responsible for developing and executing a Development Operations (DevSecOps) strategy to ensure quality software and infrastructure deployments and overall application health, security and performance, for cloud and on-prem infrastructure.

n

The candidate participates in the realization of high systems technology in the field of biometrics applied to security, civil ID and/or border control applications.

n

Key Missions

n

n
- Promotes DevSecOps and Cloud infrastructure principles
n
- Builds and maintains infrastructure code
n
- Defines and implements architectures CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment) process tailored for the team's environment,
n
- Develop infrastructure to incorporate latest technology best practices, and improve operational performance, quality considering security and service health,
n
- Improves development, deployment and testing to make it as automated as possible,
n
- Supports teams by sharing knowledge and best practices (including clear documents for complex integration procedures).
n
- Participate in software architecture (specification analysis, technical studies, technology assessment, etc.),
n
- Uses programming, scripting, and/or database languages to write software code/script that meets requirements and that optimize software performance
n
- Supports software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding software enhancements,
n




- Documents and demonstrations solutions by developing code/script comments, layouts, diagrams and charts
n
- Will be assigned to work on product development, delivery and maintenance of projects.
n
- Operate and Troubleshoots Cloud infrastructure issues
n
- Builds and maintains infrastructure code
n

Profile & Other Information

n

n
- At least 5 years' experience in object-oriented and agile software development;
n
- At least 2-3 years' experience in similar DevOps and Cloud engineering role;
n
- Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering / Computer Science or a relevant discipline;
n
- Experience in writing Design Documentation.
n
- Extensive Knowledge of configuration management tools and languages (Terraform, Ansible, GIT, etc.),
n
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure and architecture,
n
- Basic database knowledge and best practices,
n
- Security awareness,
n
- Windows, GNU/Linux, networking knowledge,
n
- Containerization and orchestration knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.),
n
- Cloud knowledge (Private and Public),
n
- Knowledge on DevSecOps process and different tools (Jira, Testlink, GIT, etc.),
n
- CI/CD tools and platforms knowledge (Jenkins, CI/CD as a service, etc.),
n
- Ideally candidate should be familiar with open-source technologies like Kubernetes, kafka, Drools, Elasticstack etc
n
- Experience in Linux and Windows setting and scripting is compulsory
n
- Hands-on different development, automation, build and test environments (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.),
n
- Strong understanding of software lifecycle (agile, waterfall, etc.)
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
