Renron was founded in February 2017 providing onsite welding and fabrication services to the construction industry in Melbourne. Since February 2018 Renron has expanded its services to include a fabrication workshop located in Point Cook servicing the infrastructure project sector in Victoria.

As a result of the company's continued growth, MULTIPLE opportunities are becoming available for suitably qualified and experienced BOILERMAKERS to join our organisation.

THE ROLE:

n

Working out of the Renron Point Cook workshop.

n

The role will be 36 hours per week. The rate will be $56.50 and OT rate $113.00

n

You would initially be employed directly through Renron as a casual worker, with view to continue onto permanent full time for the right candidate.

n

Required skills:

n

Cert 3 Metal Fabrication or a minimum of 3 years' experience (essential)

n

Confident welding skills

n

Experience in FCAW, GMAW, MMAW welding procedures

n

Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings (essential)

n





Ability to pass a Weld Test (essential)

n

Be able to pass random drug and alcohol tests on request (essential)

n

Required experience;

n

Interpreting technical drawings (essential)

n

Able to weld with MIG to AS1554 standard (minimum SP1) (essential)

n

Arc welding to AS1554 standard (minimum SP1) (essential)

n

Automation competences OXY Quick cutter and lineal welding (desirable)

n

Experience with heavy steel 50mm-100mm thickness (desirable)

n

Set up and maintain welding equipment (essential)

n

Focused with an eye for detail

n

Reliable and punctual

n

Work with minimal supervision

n

Ability to lift and manipulate large metal objects

n

Ability to stand for long periods`

n

Ability to lift up to 25kg regularly.

n

Willingness to learn and master new technology. (essential)

n

Commitment to secure work practices.

n

Produce high quality work within agreed time frames.
