PBE Rutherford is Australia's leading supplier of mining electrical cables and accessories, servicing coal and metalliferous mining operations across the country. Our Lithgow branch is a trusted local partner to the mining industry, providing cable supply, repairs, testing and disposal services.

We're looking for a reliable HR Truck Driver / Workshop Labourer to join our team. This is a diverse role that combines local truck driving with workshop-based work, offering plenty of variety and on-the-job training.

About the role

n

No two days are the same. You'll spend your time:

n

n
- Transporting electrical mining cables to and from customer sites
n
- Loading and unloading cable drums and equipment safely
n
- Representing our business professionally when dealing with customers
n




- Assisting workshop operations and cable repair activities
n
- Maintaining vehicles and equipment to a high standard
n
- Following company safety procedures and protected work practices
n

n

As one of the first people our customers interact with, you'll be the face of our business and play a key role in delivering exceptional service.

n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Current HR Driver's Licence (manual preferred)
n
- Current Forklift Licence
n
- Previous truck driving experience
n
- Experience in labouring, warehousing, manufacturing or workshop environments
n
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
n
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
n
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- Local to the Lithgow region or surrounding areas
n
